Friday August 1, 2014: A bagpiper plays while the sun sets in the idyllic lakeside town of Southampton, Ontario. This Lake Huron locale is the best place I’ve ever been for a completely unobstructed view of daylight fading. You can see that families love coming to see the spectacle.
laying down the blacktop” Bruce Springsteen sings in one of the great tracks from his Born In The USA album. That was 1984. This is 2014 and I’m working on an album (of sorts) of my own. I consider an album to be a tightly-knit collection of similarly-themed songs. In my case you change “songs” to “posts” and you get the goods.
